The gears are made of high-strength alloy steel. After quenching, the tooth surface hardness reaches HRC55, which is wear-resistant and impact-resistant, and can withstand a torque of 1800N・m. The box is made of cast iron and is equipped with a double sealing structure. The dust and water resistance level reaches IP65, and it can work stably in the humid and dusty environment of the farm. PGA series auger drive planetary gearboxes are built for TMR feed mixers and diet feeders driven from a 540 rpm tractor PTO. Continuous torque runs from 3,810 N·m (PGA-502) to 42,000 N·m (PGA-4203/4204), with ratios from 11.1:1 to 662.8:1 and standard 1"3/8 Z6 or 1"3/4 Z20 input splines. Gears and shafts are high-strength alloy steel, gas carburized to about HRC58 tooth-surface hardness; the one-piece cast-iron housing uses dual sealing to IP65 for dust, slurry and wash-down. Manufactured by Raydafon in its own ISO 9001 workshop in Ningbo, China, for OEM mixer builders and as a replacement unit for farms and dealers.
