Most tractors in this power range use a 1.750-20 PTO stub and most PEECON mixers in this range use a 1.750-6 input shaft. Both sides are matched independently — the mixer side is fixed by the mixer, the tractor side is fixed by the tractor. Confirm both before ordering.

The two clutch families are not interchangeable in service. Automatic cutout clutches re-engage after slip, so they suit mixers that meet occasional overloads during start-up. Shear bolt yokes sacrifice the bolt on overload and need to be re-bolted before the mixer runs again, so they suit mixers where a broken bolt is easier to replace than an overheated clutch pack. Which PEECON mixer models does this PTO shaft cover?

The 865, 1100, 1300 and 1500. Minimum tractor power for each is 95 hp, 135 hp, 180 hp and 200 hp respectively, as listed in the model matrix above. All four run a CAT6 constant velocity main shaft.

What spline is used on the tractor side and on the mixer side?

Most tractors in this range use a 1.750-20 spline, and most mixers use a 1.750-6 input shaft. The 1.375-6 (540 rpm) and 1.375-21 (1000 rpm) tractor-side options are also available. The tractor side and the mixer side are matched independently — confirm both before ordering.

What is the torque rating of the shaft and the clutch?

The CAT6 main shaft is rated to 3,800 N·m continuous and 4,200 N·m instantaneous peak. Automatic cutout clutches in the 2500 series range from 2,500 N·m to 3,500 N·m. Shear bolt yokes are rated at 2,920 N·m.

Can you supply a non-standard shaft length or yoke?

Yes. Shaft length, yoke size, spline combination and shield configuration can be made to drawing. Send the dimensions of the existing shaft, or a sketch with the joint centres marked, and we will confirm feasibility.

What are the MOQ and lead time?
